What is Sharpen, and what happens if we stop it?

Quick answer

Sharpen (Upgrades & Support) is the monthly plan after a custom build. We host the tool, monitor it, fix it when it breaks and keep improving it. New workflows and major features are quoted separately. It cancels any time, with no long contract, and if you stop it we move the system to your own infrastructure, free.

The monthly fee buys the part after launch. In month twelve we are still operating the tool: monitoring it in production, fixing it when it breaks, and upgrading it as your stack and the models change. We also improve it with what we learn building similar tools for other teams.

Your team keeps control of how it runs day to day. It sets the rules and the approval level for each workflow. Changes to the system itself come through us, and Sharpen covers that work.

What Sharpen does not cover is new scope. A new workflow or a major feature is quoted separately, the same way the first build was.

If you stop it. Cancel any time. There is no long contract. We move the system to your own infrastructure for free, and it stays yours. From then on we stop monitoring, maintaining and optimizing it, so the work of running it is yours too.

The tool is built once and maintained monthly, and the monthly part is a choice you can reverse without losing what was built.

Sharpen is the name for the custom path only. A pre-built tool works differently: hosting, maintenance, upgrades and support are in its own monthly fee, and cancelling it moves your data to your own accounts. What happens when we cancel a pre-built tool? covers that side.
