Privacy Policy

ClicksRocket LLC, operating under the brand Tasken.ai ("we," "our," or "us"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through our website at tasken.ai, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

This policy covers our website and our business-to-business outreach (see Section 4 if you received an email from us without contacting us first). It does not describe how the AI systems we build for customers handle data — those systems run on customer infrastructure (or our managed hosting under a separate agreement), and the data they access is governed by the engagement contract and any applicable data processing addendum between Tasken and that customer. See Section 12 for a short note on this distinction.

We collect information in the following situations:

2.1 Information You Provide

• Contact and inquiry data: When you book a call via our scheduling page or email us directly, we collect your name, email address, company, and the content of your message.
• Email sign-ups: If you subscribe to launch updates (for example, the Horus waitlist) we collect your email address and any details you provide (such as a store URL).
• Purchase and billing data: If you purchase a system, our payment processor collects payment details on our behalf. Tasken does not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Support communications: When you contact us for support, we keep a record of the conversation to help us respond and improve our service.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, and the pages you visit on our site.
• Usage data: How you navigate and interact with our pages, such as scroll depth, link clicks, and time on page.
• Cookies and similar technologies: Small files placed on your device by the third-party widgets embedded in our pages (reviews, booking). We set no first-party tracking cookies and run no analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details.

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries, support requests, and demo or call bookings.
• Process purchases, deliver the systems you buy, and provide ongoing support.
• Send service-related communications (receipts, delivery updates, security notices).
• Send newsletters and launch updates where you have opted in, and let you unsubscribe at any time.
• Introduce our systems to businesses whose published activity is relevant to what we build. This is business-to-business outreach and does not rely on consent; see Section 4 for the basis, limits, and how to stop it.
• Operate, secure, and improve our website and content.
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect against fraud or abuse.

We rely on the following legal bases under GDPR: (a) performance of a contract with you, (b) your consent (for newsletters and launch updates), (c) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the website and in business-to-business outreach as described in Section 4, and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

Separately from the website, we carry out business-to-business outreach: we contact people in professional roles at companies whose published business is relevant to what we build, to introduce our systems. If you received an email from us without having contacted us first, this section describes how we handled your information.

4.1 What we process, and where it comes from

We process business contact information only: name, professional role, work email address, and the company name, website and publicly described services. We obtain it from public and professional sources — company websites, industry directories and listings, and public professional profiles. We do not use personal or private email addresses for outreach, and we do not process special categories of personal data for this purpose.

4.2 Legal basis

For this outreach we rely on legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), not consent: direct business-to-business marketing sent to a work address, on a subject matter relevant to the recipient's professional role. Recital 47 of the GDPR expressly recognises direct marketing as capable of constituting a legitimate interest. We have carried out and documented the balancing assessment the law requires, and you may request a copy of it.

4.3 How we limit it

• Stopping is immediate and unconditional. A one-word reply asking us to stop removes you from all outreach at once. So does emailing us. We keep a suppression record so you are not contacted again.
• Limited sequence. An initial message and a small number of follow-ups. Replying at any point ends the sequence.
• Retention. Where a recipient does not respond, we delete their contact data within 12 months of first contact.
• No profiling or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell or license outreach data to third parties.

4.4 Your rights here

You have the same rights described in Section 8, including the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time. If you object to direct marketing, we stop — there is no balancing test for us to apply. Email support@tasken.ai, or simply reply to the message you received.

Outreach into the European Union is carried out by our Italian establishment, which acts as controller for that activity; see Section 15.

We do not:

• Sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
• Use your data for behavioral advertising or retargeting.
• Use your contact data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
• Share your information with third parties for purposes unrelated to providing our services.

We share personal information only with the categories of recipients below, and only to the extent necessary:

• Service providers (processors): Companies that help us operate our website and business, such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing, customer support tooling, scheduling tools, and analytics providers. These providers handle data on our behalf under data processing agreements and cannot use your data for their own purposes.
• Embedded third-party widgets: Several pages embed testimonial widgets provided by Senja, and some embed a booking calendar provided by Zcal. When a widget loads, the provider may receive limited technical information (such as your IP address and browser) directly. These widgets are part of the page content and load on every visit; you can block third-party content for this site in your browser settings.
• Legal and compliance: Where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights, safety, or property, or those of others.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice and continued privacy protection for your information.
• With your consent: Any other sharing only with your explicit consent.

6.1 Security Measures

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including:

• Encryption in transit using industry-standard TLS.
• Encryption at rest for sensitive data stored with our infrastructure providers.
• Access controls limiting employee access to data on a need-to-know basis.
• Regular review of our security practices and third-party providers.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to maintain a security posture consistent with industry expectations.

6.2 Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Contact and inquiry data is typically retained for up to 24 months after our last meaningful interaction, unless you request earlier deletion. Billing records may be retained longer where required by tax or accounting law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Restriction or objection: Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing activities.
• Portability: Receive your personal information in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
• Unsubscribe: Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by emailing us.
• Cookie preferences: Adjust your cookie choices via our cookie banner or your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy.

California residents: Under the CCPA/CPRA, you may also request information about the categories of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise these rights, email us at support@tasken.ai. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

We are based in the United States, and some of our service providers operate in other countries. If you access our site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction.

Where applicable, we rely on safeguards recognized under GDPR (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers, and we review our providers' data handling practices on a periodic basis.

Our website and services are not directed to individuals under 16 years of age (or under 13 in the United States). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Our site may link to third-party websites or services we do not control (for example, our scheduling page, social media profiles, or partner sites). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. Please review their privacy policies before providing them with personal information.

The AI systems we build and deliver to customers may, where the customer authorizes it, integrate with third-party services (for example, Google Workspace, SEO platforms, CRM tools, or LLM providers) to perform the workflows the customer has commissioned.

Those integrations are configured and operated by or for the customer under a separate engagement contract and (where applicable) a Data Processing Addendum. This website Privacy Policy does not describe how customer systems handle data. If you are a customer with questions about how your Tasken system processes data, please refer to your engagement contract or contact support@tasken.ai.

Where our customer systems access Google APIs on a customer's behalf, those accesses comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by:

• A prominent notice on our website, and
• Where we hold your email address for an active relationship, an email notification.

Continued use of our website after changes take effect indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

We design our website privacy practices to be consistent with:

• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR
• California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA)
• CAN-SPAM Act and similar marketing-email regulations
• Security practices aligned with SOC 2 principles
